- Adults without diabetes who had obesity, or overweight with a weight-related condition. These were selected trial participants, not an unrestricted healthy-volunteer population.
- Which product it identifies
- The trial compared its studied subcutaneous semaglutide treatment with placebo, with lifestyle intervention in both groups. It did not evaluate every preparation advertised under a semaglutide name.
- What it measured or authorizes
- The principal outcomes concerned body-weight change and the proportion reaching a defined weight reduction over 68 weeks. This is a report of a study, not an authorization for a marketed microdosing program.
- Outside its scope
- Weight-related findings do not demonstrate that a particular compounded microdosing product extends lifespan or slows aging in otherwise healthy people. They also do not establish a personal treatment recommendation.

- Adults with established cardiovascular disease and overweight or obesity, without diabetes. Absence of diabetes did not mean participants were otherwise healthy.
- Which product it identifies
- The study compared its subcutaneous semaglutide treatment with placebo alongside standard care. It was not a trial of CoreAge's advertised compounded microdosing preparation.
- What it measured or authorizes
- The primary outcome combined cardiovascular death, nonfatal heart attack and nonfatal stroke. The trial found a reduction in that composite. That result is not the same as demonstrating that every component was independently reduced.
- Outside its scope
- The original analysis did not perform confirmatory superiority testing for all-cause death after an earlier secondary outcome failed its required threshold. SELECT does not establish a general healthy-aging or microdosing indication.
A later mortality analysis concerns the same SELECT cohort; it is not a separate randomized microdosing trial. This record cannot calculate individual benefit or validate another finished preparation.
